The Los Angeles Dodgers are on top of the baseball world and it doesn't look like they're coming down anytime soon.

After a slow start to the season, the Dodgers have been on a tear lately, going 22-6 in the month of , including a 10 game win streak. The team has an enigma surrounding them and it has been exciting to watch. The 22 comeback wins, the multiple home runs or the just the winning has been fun to witness.

Both the Colorado Rockies and the Arizona Diamondbacks are now trailing the Dodgers after leading the NL West Division at some point this season. The Dodgers are pulling away in the division after a close three-man race up to this point.

The Rockies are having problems at the wrong time after having a commanding lead in the division. Colorado is 3-7 in the past 10 games and the team's offense has gone cold and the pitching hasn't been any better.

The Diamondbacks got swept by the Dodgers and now trail by 5.5 games in the division.

Everything seems to be going right for Los Angeles. Cody Bellinger has turned into a rookie sensation and looks to be a lock for the NL Rookie of the Year Award. He is tied for the most home runs in the NL with a total of 24 bombers.

During his hot streak, Bellinger became the fastest player in baseball history to reach the 21 home run mark.

Alex Wood has emerged into one of the best pitchers in baseball this season. Wood has the lowest earned run average in all of baseball with a 1.67 ERA and is the first Dodger since Don Newcombe in 1955 to start a season 10-0.

Those two have been having historic seasons for the team but there are even more notable players like Clayton Kershaw, Kenley Jansen, Corey Seager and Justin Turner, who are having amazing seasons themselves.

The Dodgers have surged and catapulted themselves as the best team in baseball currently. They have the star power and the depth to keep up this dominance after the All-Star break. Whether it's home runs, great pitching or thrilling comebacks, it is an exciting time for Dodger baseball.
