Miami @ Orlando Under 200.5 points
These are two teams who don’t have strong weapons offensively, Miami like to play a set offense and with no Wade or Bosh they don’t have a whole heap of scoring options, I can’t see them taking rushed or many quick shots and rather enforce a slower game tempo. I think this total is set 4-5 points too high.
Dallas @ Indiana Indiana -6
Indiana are my wildcard in the Eastern Conference, I’m expecting them to make a statement at home in their first game by beating an older Dallas mavericks lineup who I think will drop off and not make the playoffs this year.
Minnesota @ Memphis Under 199.5 points ( My main play)
Memphis is a tough in and under team who focus on defense and scoring down low in the paint. The Minnesota Timberwolves are about to play their first game under one of the best defensive coaches of all time Tom Thibodeau, If you don’t play good defense you sit on the bench. This will make for a low scoring battle. Under 199.5 seems like a steal, I’m very confident.
Oklahoma City @ Philadelphia Oklahoma City -8.5
Philadelphia are still bad, really bad and yes OKC did lose Kevin Durant but they still have plenty of talent and will still be a playoff team, this being Westbrook’s first game without Durant on the roster he’ll be looking to make a statement right off the bat
