It's been a busy day on the track at Richmond Raceway. we have had XFinity Practice and Qualifying as well as two Monster Energy Cup Series practices followed by qualifying. The field is set and the intensity is starting to mount as Saturday night will present the final shot for those outside the Playoff bubble to grab a win and sneak into the postseason.

From a DFS strategy standpoint, I feel there will be two dominators that lead 100+ laps and both will be required to take down a GPP. It just so happens both come from the top tier in pricing but the good news is that there is plenty of value to mix in your lineups to make it happen. There isn't a clear place differential lock that will be heavy chalk and I am predicting three drivers over 40% in GPP's this week making it easier to differentiate yourself from the field. With all that said, let's jump into the top picks.

DOMINATOR PICKS

Martin Truex Jr.($10,400 - Starting 5th) & Kyle Busch($10,700 - Starting 7th)

No surprise here as Truex(1,448) and Busch(1,311) lead the series by a wide margin in laps led this season. Both drivers give us a bit of place differential with Truex starting 5th and Busch 7th and both should have a shot at leading laps once again as they were 1-2 in 10 lap averages during final practice.

Ryan Newman ($7,200 - Starting 27th)

Newman not only checks off the place differential value box this week, he has also seen his salary drop back down in the low $7K range. He started off the weekend great with the 12th fastest speed and 4th fastest 10 lap average in opening practice but fell off as qualifying approached and will start 27th. I am confident he and the #31 team will get the car back to early weekend speed. Newman has finished Top 20 in 16 of his last 17 Richmond races with nine Top 10's. Lock him into your lineups in all formats.

David Ragan ($5,500 - Starting 29th) & Landon Cassill ($5,200 - Starting 30th)

Both of these drivers are in play this week in the mid $5K range and starting 29th and 30th. Both drivers also showed us Top 20 speed in both practices on Friday afternoon. For them to hit value I feel they need about 20-25 DK points and get get that total with a Top 25 finish. Ragan has finished Top 25 in four of his last five races here and Cassill has finished 27th or better in three of his last five. Pairing them together works for GPP's as you can then easily fit Busch, Truex and another top driver.
