Welcome back for another Weekend Edition of Daily Fantasy PGA. This week we have the John Deere Classic coming to you from TPC Deere Run. The cut is currently at -2 with a few players left on the course and there are currently 82 players at that number or better meaning we will most likely be seeing an MDF on Saturday. Keep that in mind when targeting golfers in that range or players within a few strokes of that number.

The leader after two days is Patrick Rodgers who got the memo about the birdie-fest this week. He has shot an opening 65/64 and leads the field with 14 birdies. Looking at his other stats, he ranks 21st in driving distance, 42nd in accuracy, 11th in GIR and 13th in Putters Per GIR. He is not the favorite going into the weekend, however, as Zach Johnson holds that honor with his incredible course history here. Zach has navigated TPC Deere Run like he always does ranking 15th in driving accuracy, 1st in GIR, and 12th overall in birdies made. Right behind him is Chucky three sticks who has continued his hot hand entering the weekend in a tie for third with ZJ at 10 under par. He has shown a consistent all around game ranking 8th tee to green. Bryson DeChambeau is the other name at the top of the leaderboard and he has done it with an exceptional off the tee and putting game.

Let's jump right into my top picks for the weekend!

Zach Johnson ($9,300) - He was the cover boy on my main article over at DFSR.com this week and I am sticking to my guns on the weekend. He enters the weekend just three shots off the lead and has only made two bogeys all week while gaining over 4.5 strokes on the approach(6th) and 7.093 strokes tee to green(1st).

Charles Howell III ($8,600) - I love the value here in the mid $8K range. Speaking of avoiding Bogey's, Howell has only made just one all week and ranks 8th in strokes gained tee to green overall.

Trey Mullinax ($7,400) - Mullinax enters the weekend at -6 and is performing very well in his first trip to TPC Deere Run. He ranks 3rd in strokes gained off the tee, 25th in strokes gain approach and has made 11 birdies. The price is very attractive and I expect him to climb the leaderboard on the weekend.

Camillo Villegas ($7,200) - My GPP flyer this weekend will be Villegas. He is very inconsistent and has already made four bogeys and a double but ranks 6th in birdies with 12 and sits at -6 going into Saturday. He also ranks 18th in Strokes gained approach and if he can hit a few more fairways on the weekend could sneak up the leaderboard undetected.
