Arsenal Wembley FA Cup Semi-Final Preview
It's that time again. An FA Cup semi-final and Wembley has to justify spending so much money. The FA Cup semi's should be at neutral venues and I find it a disgrace that City play in London against Arsenal on a Sunday. It isn't bank holidays weekend, it's a working day the next day. Where is the fairness? The match should be split to a fair distance for both. Birmingham. That is fair. But Wembley could be fairer still. Thanks to the FA, they think it's a great idea for City to play on a Sunday afternoon whilst two London clubs play on the Saturday. Then you wonder why City struggle to sell out. Maybe they should make trips to London cheaper and tickets cheaper. A disgrace. Rant over.
City set up with a near full squad and Arsenal have struggled as of late. The Wembley pitch is big and suits both clubs. This should be a good game. I think both teams will score and I think City need 3 to win. Bravo has played the last two games and he'll play again tomorrow. Hmm. Kompany should start. I think we might see Otamendi slide in next to him and have Clichy and I think we may see Navas at RB again. Other than that, I don't think we'll see Zaba and Sagna is injured so we are left with Stones and Kolarov. Possible in defence. Who knows. I'd play to the game though and Otamendi suits a bigger pitch and with City's high line, I'd like to see him and Vinnie pair up. Dinho could play in defence but I think I'd like to see him slot in just in front of defence. Silva, De Bruyne, Sane, Sterling and Aguero up top. That is our strongest team in my opinion. Yaya could feature but on such a big pitch, we need runners. Silva and De Bruyne hold the key in this game. If they can track back, work as a team and play their passes well, I expect to win. If not, then I'm sure Sanchez, Ozil, Walcott etc will hurt the gaps in defence and midfield. It will be similar to the game at the Emirates and that finished 2-2. I wouldn't be surprised with that again. I'll predict a City win on pens. Wishful thinking. We will see. I'll review the game next week. Come on boys. Pray.
