Bournemouth away Preview

Here we gooooo. Heading far down south for Bournemouth away. City destroyed Bournemouth away last season and beat them again in September. Dean Court is small, narrow and difficult. They attack well so this is a cert for BTTS (Both Teams To Score). I think City will win and there will be goals. a 4-2 or something like that. City will attack, have possession and Bournemouth will look to attack too. So it is who makes more mistakes and City seem to have limited their mistakes and Bournemouth have weaknesses in their defence. They leave a lot of gaps and if City can stretch the game, they will win. This is a game where I hope City can score first and early. One advantage or disadvantage is that City play last so hopefully a couple of the teams in the top 6 will drop points and City have a chance to capitalise rather than be under pressure because everyone has won and picked up points. We will see. 

For the teams, Bournemouth will play with a lot of pace up front and look to hurt City, so King, Wilson, Ibe can hurt City if they play, Gradel, Afobe if they play too. The team is ok, Eddie Howe has done a grand job. Their defence though, it is much to be desired. They pass, don't have a lot of pace and reminds me of A championship defence, it is very limited. For City, we may see Kompany return, it would not surprise me. Otamendi will probably start too. If Kompany doesn't feature, Stones maybe or even Kolarov at CB but I'd go for Vinnie and Ota. Sagna and Clichy at RB and LB. Caballero in net again, he may have conceded but he makes saves. He makes saves. First job of the keeper is to save. Fernandinho, Silva and KDB in the centre and I'd play Sane and Jesus out wide. Why? They are technically brilliant. Sterling is quite limited to one foot and pace, I think Sane and Jesus have skill, pace and accuracy to cause Bournemouth a lot of problems. Aguero up front, this game could suit him as the pitch is small. Leave him up front, he will cause problems and score. I see this being a game for him where he can find some form. Yaya needs a rest, like a proper rest, he looks ace but tired, like Fernandinho did a few months back. Play Fernandinho and Aguero and see what happens, please, Pep. C'mon boys. Lets see what happens.
