Burnley review

I forgot. I've been very busy, so busy I've not had time to do my YouTube videos or write any of my blogs. Normality next week though. I apologise for my lack of updates, I'll do better next time.

Short review. The first half was poor, City were far too walky walky with their play, shoot more. What happened to shoot on sight or shooting from outside the box? Have an effort lads. They got boo'd off, that isn't good but I understand the frustrations, City show no signs of improvement and the team needs more freshness and consistency. I don't mean being consistently predictable. They need to be rid of the old and poor and in with the quick and young. More KDB's, Sane's and Sterling's please. The defence and keeping is a joke. Fernandinho was sent off again for a poor challenge. He needs to sort his discipline out, he's an outstanding player and not even that nasty. He just needs to mind himself. Go in hard but don't raise your legs and scissor them. He's the type of player we need so I'm disappointed with his needless challenge. Poor. That was all there was to report on for the first half. Burnley played so negatively and sat back so much, you didn't know we had 10 men on the pitch. Thank god. Better teams would have punished City on Monday so we got away with one. Aguero came on, Silva too and City looked better. Clichy found the net when getting forward and if he did that more, he may have a future at the club but I don't think so. A needed goal for City and broke down Burnley's stubborn defence so I'll take it. Well done Gael. Aguero scored the second soon after, a worldy. Lovely finish similar to Navas's a couple of seasons ago against Spurs at home. Keeper in no mans land, on the edge of the box (just inside the box) and chips over the keeper and defenders on the line and made it 2-0. Comfortable. I was hoping for a nice, solid performance and a clean sheet but again, City concede from a set piece. Bravo flaps, a scramble for the goal and apparently Mee taps in. Disappointing. The keeping situation needs addressing in the summer. I think Bravo is a good keeper but I think he is well suited to Spanish football. He isn't good enough with the ball. You need to judge the play well, be physical, catch the ball, make good saves and make your presence known. De gea struggled to start but Bravo does not have youth on his side. He cost 17M pounds, I expected more. I don't think Joe Hart is the answer either, he made a lot of mistakes over the last couple of years too. Both have quality in them, but I want to see young and fresh players across all of the team, keeper is no exception. Rulli fits the bill nicely so lets see how he does over the next few months. In the end, City won so 3 points and that's all that matters. Guardiola is right with that but he wants more from the team and I agree. He wants more from the fans and I agree. Wouldn't it be nice for him to meet with fans and supporters groups and they all come to an agreement of displays of flags, songs and things like that that people can join in on. Wouldn't it be great to have the south stand full of City fans with great displays? A singing section behind the bench and let the sections get involved in the match and with Guardiola's energy? There is too much moaning, groaning and being sat down. Liven up. It happens at away matches too. I want to see passion. 1 block of passion can create an atmosphere, a stand with lots of blocks in with lots of passion creates one hell of an atmosphere. Be the 12th man. Hopefully the club will address this in the summer and things get done. Don't get your hopes up though.
