Hull review

Nice and comfortable in the end. City opened the scoring with a lovely Navas cross (hmm) and it hitting Elmahamady (nothing he could do) and trickles in. Nice and early too. A needed second followed up with a lovely team effort with Raheem's shot being tipped into Aguero's path and he follows up with the help of a touch from the advancing keeper and desperate defender. Superb. We even got a third, awesome. Delph find lots of space about 25 yards out and sweetly struck it into the corner of the net. Great. But. But. But. Yeah, City conceded. A weak corner is partly cleared before Hull get into the corner of the box and a tame shot is released. Ronacchia shot low with some power (not lots) and Bravo gets down but saves the ball into the net. Caballero struggles with low shots at his hands too. Weak. Hull's only shot on target. Whilst Bravo's shot stopping is awful, his build up play and mistakes with his feet are rare. Teams are limited to only 2 or 3 shots at goal. Compare that with 5 or 6 Caballero has (he sits back and is a little more direct). In my opinion, their records of both of them is poor with conceding. I think Caballero has had a good season but unfortunately, he will be sacrificed at the end of the season and a new goalie will appear (cough*Ederson*cough). We will see. The keeper situation is troublesome. Hart isn't the answer either. Who plays next weekend at Southampton? These are HUGE games. We cannot afford keeping mistakes. I'd stick with Bravo and give him his last chance and then play Caballero at Wembley (direct play works a little better on big pitches, stretch the width and run). Who knows with Pep. Gunn will probably play against Saints knowing him. Tune in on Friday for that review. Have a GOOD Friday. Peace.
