Man United (H) Review & M'brough (A) Preview!

Seems as we play on Sunday and we played last night, I've merged the two. I'll start with last night. Aguero hit the post and City had some long range shots and dominated possession. Otamendi tried his hardest to match Rashford but in truth, United did very little. Herrara missed a sitter from a lovely freekick. The ball whipped in, Herrara leaves Sane for dead and misses his header. Bravo came for a cross, messed up and saved well from Herrara's shot. Bravo got stretchered off. His season might be done now with only 4 weeks left. City huffed and puffed, Fellani head-butted and got sent off but Jose wanted a 0-0 and got it. City, I think, were more than happy to settle on a point too. I think City need 4 wins out of 5. We have a struggling Middlesbrough away next. We beat them comfortably at the Riverside in the FA Cup last month. This match won't be as easy.

Middlesbrough drew at Eastlands. They are hard to break down and have very little pace up front. They will get 1 or 2 chances to score so City need to be switched on and build on the clean sheet we kept last night. Kompany has looked great but I would rest him. We don't want him to play all the time when it isn't necessary. Kolarov at CB with Otamendi. If Stones is fit again, maybe start him if he can play. I think we might see Silva return if he is able to. If not, maybe Yaya might be rested and Delph feature. Zabaleta looked decent last night and I'd like to see him start again. He kept Martial quiet and was very sensible. He gets forward too. Clichy at LB, or Dinho if we play Yaya and Delph together. Caballero will start and we will see young Gunn (get it?) on the bench. Wouldn't it be nice for the season to be done by the last game and Gunn gets a start? Garcia too? I think that's about it. I wouldn't be surprised to see Navas start at RB but I think he'll start ahead of Sterling (a little disappointing yesterday). Sane and Aguero up front. Why rush Jesus back? He should start in the next couple of weeks. KDB looked decent on his crosses yesterday, I'd really like to see him roam the wings and centre (like Silva used to). His crossing is miles better than Sterling, Navas and Sane's. I'd bring Jesus on for the last 15-20 minutes if needed. I am quite confident on the match. Middlesbrough's lack of pace up front is criminal in the PL. I'll go for 2-0 City and put some pressure on Arsenal, Liverpool and United hopefully. But 4 weeks to go and 5 cup finals left. We need top 4. God this is a carbon copy of last season.

For M'brough, we all know how dangerous Negredo is and Middlesbrough's defence is strong. We need to work hard and make no mistakes. Give Middlesbrough nothing. No silly free kicks or throw in's, no cheap corners. Let Middlesbrough chase up and tire. Then hit them. Just copy what we did in the FA Cup. Middlesbrough will have Gibson and co back. I will add that Gibson will be leaving at the end of the season and made silly comments about wanting to leave if they are relegated. Get your head in the game boy. City are linked with you, be a pro and play like one. Not be unprofessional. Middlesbrough are fighting for their lives so this is a horrible game. We need to grind it out and win. If we don't, we are in huge trouble for the top 4. Just keep going and get them 3 points.
