Spurs Home match preview

I'll jinx the team, this has a Spurs win written all over it. Spurs are playing well, they're quick, well drilled and organised. They will be a threat in the air, can dominate and attack. If Spurs score first, they can and probably will dominate the game, like at White Hart Lane. City need to come all guns blazing. I haven't seen City do that in a long time and if they don't do that, the game will be beyond them. I just don't think City are good enough. The team isn't good enough and certain players (Clichy, Zaba, Sagna, Kolarov, Fernando, Navas) are past their sell by date. They should not be here but they are. It slows the team down and in all them positions, the team needs improvements. One already has, Gabriel Jesus is training and paperwork has gone through. He can play now so why is Navas here? Nolito, Silva, De Bruyne, Sterling, Sane and GJ can play there. Navas won't get a look in. He's an ok player, he would be well suited to Spain so why not seek to sell him rather than let him go for free in the summer when his contract is up? Strange. He isn't homegrown so I do not understand the loyalty. Hopefully Pep will see this too. Whilst we talk about Pep, he has a lot of questions to answer. If City lose, where do City go from here? City need a top 4 place, the only way to get better in the CL is to be in it every season and improve season after season. We have a last 16 match with Monaco, ranked in pot 2 for the last few seasons so the team need to be in the CL. Top 4 is priority. Pellegrini held on last season but the top teams and eager and better this season. Pep has a lot of answers that he needs otherwise big questions will get asked. Is he good enough? I think so, he needs a team that can play his way and younger and fitter. That won't happen this season so City will struggle. If we beat Spurs, we are well in the mix with some nice, winnable fixtures approaching. If they lose, I just don't see us making 4th or higher. A shame. We need to beat teams around us and beat teams below us. We are a million miles away from where we need to be. Hopefully GJ will bring some positivity to the team and the team will build from that. We just need a decent run of form again. If that happens then top 4 is doable, if not, it isn't. Simple. I don't see it, not from what I've seen as a whole this season.

For Spurs, the opposite. I feel like injuries will ruin their season (Vertonghen) is out for a little while, but whilst Alderweireld is there at the back, they are safe. Dele Alli and Kane have been in superb form. They are Spurs' danger men. If City don't stop them, they will not win the game tomorrow. They struggled last time. Has Pep learnt his lessons? We'll see in the preview. Fernandinho is suspended (2 games to go, 1 after this), GJ will probably make the bench. I hope Caballero starts but Pep doesn't work like that. If Caballero starts, it will boost everyone's feelings. I don't think the fans trust Bravo, I think oppositions target Stones and City's left as quicknesses and shots at Bravo also a weakness. If Caballero starts and Vinnie is fit to start and starts then it will do wonders for morale. That probably won't happen so Spurs will win. I will go for 4-1 Spurs and Pep to be under huge pressure. Lets see. I hope I am wrong and I am singing the praises of the management and team on Sunday on my review. I will miss the game as I will be on a train back from Birmingham (football related) so I will read and watch the highlights and judge. Team prediction -
