Blue Jays and Rangers Meet in ALDS

The Toronto Blue Jays won the American League Wild Card game last night in epic fashion.  Edwin Encarnacion hit a walk off home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to send the Baltimore Orioles packing.  That was an absolutely electric moment, and the Rogers Centre completely erupted.  Here is home run.

With the win, the Blue Jays now face the Texas Rangers in the ALDS.  These teams have a very interesting recent history, and this series should be must-watch baseball.  They met in the ALDS last year, and it was some of the most intense baseball I have ever seen.  The Blue Jays ended up winning the series 3-2, and game 5 had one of the my favorite baseball moments of all time.  Here's the video.

What a wild moment, and one of my favorites.  The Rangers did not forget this and emotions carried over into this season.  The last time the Blue Jays and Rangers played, we saw the best brawl of the entire season.  Guess who was involved?  Jose Bautista.  I love some good basebrawl, and this was good.  Rougned Odor was having none of Bautista's hard slide, and we got "the punch".  Here is the video.

Now the two teams will meet again in what could be the best series of the entire playoffs.  It's going to be intense for sure.  The Blue Jays want to bury the Rangers again, and the Rangers want to enact revenge.  This series should be epic.  I know I'll be watching; this will be playoff baseball at it's best.
