Notes about these Power Rankings:

Lots of familiar faces in familiar places. By now most of the teams have settled into the positions they will finish by now.

The Astros are the best team in baseball currently. Colorado and Washington are keeping it close, but are still a step behind the Astros.

The Twins and Indians are tied atop the A.L, Central. The Twins have been able to keep winning but it seems like the steam is starting to run out. The Indians benefited by the return of Kluber and Bauer suddenly remembering how to pitch again. This time next week it could very well be the Indians ahead of the Twins.

Cubs and Tigers have moved up this week compared to last week. They have finished the week on win streaks of 3 and 4 respectively. Both teams have a lot of work to do still. Cubs are still inconsistent and the Tigers still have question marks all over.

The Rangers suffered what can only be summed up as a free fall. 2-8 over the past week and losing 4 in a row. Texas seems like they will end up being a team that misses the playoffs but will keep it interesting until the trade deadline.
