Three Brief Thoughts

1)  THERE IS A LOT OF WORK TO BE DONE IN WISCONSIN

I was one of those guys who defended the Badgers very highly after the top 16 came out (without them in it), saying things like they beat everybody they should and probably won't lose again, etc.  I also said they have the offensive and defensive talent to win, and that this team's record is (was) still on pace for the same record as the 2015 NCAA Runner-up Badgers.  Well, nice going, Wisconsin.  Bronson Koenig had two points, and I honestly don't remember when they came.  Ethan Happ was held under double digits for the first time in a while, and he turned it over way too much.  They couldn't shoot again, and Nigel Hayes looks soft.
The thing that I remember the announcers saying was this was the second most turnovers the Badgers committed in a game, and the one before that?  At Creighton, which was a loss.  I'm guessing the two of the next three highest turnover games for the Badgers were North Carolina and at Purdue.  Shooting percentage differential wasn't a problem, neither was defense, it was ball security, something we thought they moved on from.  The Badgers need every possession they can get, because otherwise they will struggle to have both the pace on offense and shooting percentage to beat good teams.  They are a lot harder now to determine if they will get past the second round of the tournament, because not only did the seeding take a hit, but my confidence in them against great teams was shaken from last night.

2)  EITHER BRADY OR GAROPPOLO IS OVERRATED
The way you talk about Jimmy Garoppolo as he is better than every starting quarterback option on eight teams is misled.  Garoppolo plays in the same spot as Tom Brady, right?  So how can you call a guy the greatest of all time when his backup comes in and doesn't miss a beat?  How can you put all of the Patriots success, therefore on Brady?  And you all seem to have conveniently forgotten Matt Cassel, and the 11-5 season he led the Patriots to during Tom Brady's season long injury.
I'm just saying, Brady and Garoppolo are clearly benefactors of the Bill Belichick system, and they likely won't be as good in a different location.  Be wary of trading for a quarterback who was able to use a large amount of offensive weaponry surrounding him and the best defense in the NFL, who only played in three games.

3)  WHY WOULD YOU TRADE FOR KEVIN LOVE?
I'm just curious, Knicks fan's, ownership, management, players, etc., why you would want to trade for Kevin Love?  He's a good player, what he did to the Minnesota Timberwolves organization made him forever soft in my mind, but that's a different discussion.  Where would you put him, is what I'm confused about.  You already have one overpaid big man in Joakim Noah, and one stretch four who is the future face of your franchise in Kristaps Porzingis, so Love doesn't really seem to fit the bill.  And, you'll have to pay him max money for three more years, because we all know Cleveland isn't going to eat any of that money.  Don't trade Carmelo for Love, or just Carmelo to the Cavs, because the Cavs can't have anything you really want if you were a smart organization (no quality draft picks, no young talent that they would trade, nothing).  Then again, owner James Dolan has proven for the past 15 years that the Knicks are not the most intelligent operation in basketball.  I'm just warning you, this isn't going to work out, like Derrick Rose and Carmelo Anthony didn't, like Charles Oakley didn't, like Amare Stoudemire was (but then didn't).
