Cavs Starting Lineup
Hello! Katerina here. Long time no blog!! I wonder if anyone can guess what team I'm blogging about today. The Cavs....SURPRISE!!!!! I mean, how could I not? The starting lineup was confirmed last night!!
After practice on Monday, October 9th, Coach Lue confirmed that Dwyane Wade would take J.R. Smith’s spot in the starting line up as shooting guard. Enough of preseason has passed for him to have been able to make this decision with a clear head. The rest of the Cavs starting lineup will be Derrick Rose, LeBron James, Jae Crowder and Kevin Love.
I am so excited to see how this season plays out for the Cavs. There is so much talent on the team and two players are such notable leaders. Despite people saying that D-Wade is “too old now” or that his defense skills are lacking (which I won’t disagree on), I think that having James and Wade on the team together can likely lead to a championship. Last season, Wade averaged 18.3 points on 43.4% shooting, 4.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 60 games. I’d argue that he’s still got it.
