My Two Cents on the NFL's Preseason

There are no conclusions that can be drawn from measly preseason games. Ever. They are meaningless contests that exist solely to generate additional revenue for the most profitable league in the world. Slow down with the overreactions that come after watching just a series or two. Yes, Mitchell Trubisky might end up being an elite NFL quarterback and yes, Leonard Fournette might be the second-coming of AP, but to definitively make such claims after watching a series or two in such meaningless games is tomfoolery. While discussing the preseason always remember that Ryan Leaf beat Peyton Manning and the Colts in the preseason by thirty (!!!) points. We all know how that turned out.
