Patrick Ewing to Georgetown
Patrick Ewing has been yearning for an NBA head coaching job for quite some time. After 16 seasons as an NBA assistant, the former Knick and NBA Hall of Famer is on his way back to DC to man the sideline for his alma mater. This is a home run hire for the Hoyas.
Ewing's first order of business should be to hire a well-connected coaching staff who can dominate recruiting in the DMV area - a basketball hotbed right in Georgetown's backyard. If he can manage to do that Ewing will have Georgetown back not only in contention for a Big East Championship, but also a National Championship.
