The Legend that is LeBron James

How many players can lose in the NBA Finals and it only further cements their legacy? I'll tell you: not many. This is precisely what LeBron James managed to do in this year's NBA Finals. The King became the first player in NBA history to lead both teams in points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks for entire series. That had never happened in any series in the history of the NBA postseason, and LeBron managed to pull that off in the Finals. In fact, LeBron averaged a triple double - 34 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assist per contest. Those numbers are absurd, but with LeBron they have become ordinary. We are watching the greatest basketball player of all-time. What he has done from both a personal and team perspective is unprecedented. He has now reached 7 consecutive NBA Finals and has been the best player by a mile in six of them. He has established himself as an all-time great. Everything else that he accomplishes from here on out is just icing on the cake.
