Williams, Bogut to the Cavaliers

The Cavaliers signing of Deron Williams and their reported addition of Andrew Bogut are both pivotal acquisitions that could tilt the balance of power in the NBA landscape. LeBron had been begging for playmakers, and while this might not be exactly what he envisioned, it will surely suffice. Williams, who is averaging over 13 points per game to go along with nearly 7 assists, is exactly what Cleveland needed. He will be able to spell Kyrie Irving when needed, and his veteran experience is invaluable. The same could be said for Bogut. While the Aussie is not much of a scorer, his rebounding and defense ability are both elite. He will help anchor the Cavaliers defensively and also assist in preparing for the Warriors, with whom he won the NBA Title with in 2015. Deron Williams and Andrew Bogut are certainly past their respective primes, but they will most definitely be valuable components of a Cavaliers team that looks to repeat.
