Former WWE Star Alberto Del Rio Says He Was Stabbed Outside Restaurant, That's Why He Missed AAA Show in Mexico
Former WWE star Alberto Del Rio (aka Alberto El Patron) said the reason he didn't appear at the AAA show in Monterrey, Mexico Sunday night was because of injuries he suffered from being stabbed by a "criminal with a knife" outside a restaurant.
Del Rio, who had been scheduled to be in the main event of one of the Mexican promotion's biggest shows of the year, said via a statement on social media that he missed his flight as a result of the attack.
In addition to his statement, Del Rio also posted graphic photos of his wounds on Instagram.
