Losh-Man's Baseball Cards Vol 4 Celebrates Topps National Baseball Card Day

Welcome back! And welcome to the new site of Losh-Man Sports Live! I had been having nothing but issues with my previous site, so I decided it was time to move on. But to view previous posts you can visit

Thanks for joining me again! Saturday 8/10/19 was Topps National Baseball Card Day, 2019! I tried to research the event to see how far back it goes. I could not find a record before 2017 but one of the participants on Baseball Cards: Buy, Sell, Trade, Razz And Break on Facebook in reply to my inquiry about it said he has items from National Trading Card Day (obviously a different event) from 2004 but as you can see in the link I am providing, I am only seeing it listed since 2017 and it will next be celebrated on February 24th, 2020.

My plan as far as the day's event was to visit several of my local sports card venues and take advantage of the free Topps Pack Giveaways. I succeeded in that. I visited Northland Baseball Cards & Collectibles, Sports Cards KC LLC and KC's Finest Sports Cards & Collectibles. Originally, it was my understanding that If you then spent $10, you also get an additional card and while I would normally do this at least once, I lost my job a week ago this past Monday and have been applying to jobs online since so I need to be conservative so I got the free packs and spent a little money on cards or packs that were not part of the day at each store. But......as you know, I am all about promoting those businesses so I took my camera and got some pics to share with you but...I'm having SD Card issues so I will share those pics when I figure it out, but the pics have been shared on the stores' Facebook Pages.

But here is my video opening most of the 2019 Topps National Baseball Card Day packs, showing the Bonus Cards and the individual cards I bought. I still have packs of 1991 Bowman, 1991 Leaf and 1992 Studio from Northland Sports Cards & Collectibles to open yet. By the way, correction on something I said on the video: The 1998 Donruss Spirit Of The Game Cal Ripken Jr card and the 1990 Topps Brett Saberhagen were from KC's Finest Sports Cards & Collectibles.

Here are my videos opening packs and showing Bonus Cards associated with the day and some that I bought from Enrique Castillo at Northland Baseball Cards & Collectibles.

Hope you've enjoyed these pack breaks and individual cards, and I'll see you next time on Losh-Man Sports Live!
