So far this season, the Chiefs have played great games and some sloppy ones too, but they seem to continue their winning form of last season. Their unbeaten home record stands out this season, with only two losses against a couple of very good football teams.

The Chiefs defense has gotten off to a very good start this season. They lead the league with 11 total interceptions, in addition, the team has registered 14 sacks, eight forced fumbles and three defensive touchdowns.

Marcus Peters leads the team with 5 interceptions this season. He has been a key player for the Chiefs defense with his leadership and aggressiveness on the field. Peters in a player who wants to be involved in every play and so far he’s been able to establish a strong presence in the back-line that all quarterbacks are well aware of when playing against him.

The Verdict:

The Chiefs are on their way to the post-season if they continue their current form. They have won games by narrow margins, but they continue to show toughness. The team has a good mix of receivers that have made some exceptional plays this season already. If the team can manage to be free from injuries, they can make a good run this season and compete with some of the favorites.
