Bulls along the horizon

The 2016-2017 Chicago Bulls find themselves in another less than .500 team, sitting at the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference. The trade deadline ended on Thursday, February, 23 at 3:00 p.m est. The Bulls did make a gutsy move by trading Taj Gibson, & Doug McDermott for Cameron Payne, Anthony Morrow, & Joffrey Lauvergne from the Oklahoma City Thunder. What does this mean for the Bulls? Well, according to management, it sticks with their goal in the offseason by getting younger and getting more athletic. They add a 6'3 guard in Payne who brings energy, competitiveness, and has the ability to knock down threes. Anthony Morrow is a proven spot up shooter. Lauvergne is an athletic big who has muscle, and he can stretch the floor. They pick up the season after all-star break tonight against the Phoenix Suns, who just traded P.J Tucker to the Toronto Raptors. Jimmy Butler should take on the point-forward spot, and let him command the floor and create shots for his teammates. This team has young talent, and if they can acquire a steady rotation of players I believe they will make a strong playoff push. The key for this team is confidence, consistency & Jimmy Butler playing balls to the wall.
