Odell Beckham Jr. gets Donkey of the Day
Odell Beckham Jr. and the New York Giants lost last night against the Minnesota Vikings, but that has not been the story throughout the day. The story has been more about Beckham's off the field sideline tantrums than anything else.
Surprisingly, this is my second Odell Beckham Jr. post of the day and it's not for a good reason, either time. The New York Giants wide receiver, Odell Beckham Jr., has been the subject of news headlines all day and things aren't looking good for the young NFL player.
Well the nationally syndicated radio show, the Breakfast Club, spoke on Odell Beckham Jr. and gave him the Donkey of the Day award. Donkey of the Day typically goes to an individual who commits an act of stupidity and Charlamagne tha God (yes that's his name) exposes them on the radio.
Now, Charlamagne ripped into Odell stating what mostly everyone else has been stating all day. It was a childish and juvenile action by Odell, but he is young and will hope to get better. Charlamagne had some jokes in there about how Odell Beckham Jr. lost his fight against the kicking net, which was hilarious. Charlamagne is usually gold in this segment and he did not disappoint.
As for Beckham, hopefully he can get his act together because as the day goes along, more and more people are speaking out against him, including his own teammates. Eli Manning was just speaking on him stating, ""He’s kind of brought that upon himself."
So Beckham has to get it under control in order to continue his great play. He's been playing well to start the season, but it has been overshadowed by his antics.
