Stephen A. Smith beats Max Kellerman in Election Day Special

Tuesday November 8th is the presidential Election Day and with that First Take decided to partake in their own election day special. The debates were hosted by Molly Qerim, as usual, but she was joined by comedian Jay Pharoah. Over the course of the two hours, Max Kellerman and Stephen A. Smith debated several topics and if you watched, it almost looked like a real debate. Both of these candidates brought their A game, but in the end it was Stephen A. Smith who came away as King of Debate. Here were a few topics that they discussed.

Richard Sherman's Dirty Play

The first topic was about Richard Sherman and the play he made last night on Monday Night Football. Here is Kellerman's take.

Now with football any given play could look dirty to another person as it's a contact sport, but I must disagree with Kellerman, that play didn't look that bad from all angles. He looked as if he was trying to block the kick and the momentum carried him into the kicker. What do you think? Check it out below.

New England Patriots America's Team?

The next topic was one that was often debated on First Take even prior to the arrival of Max Kellerman. Of course this was Stephen A. Smith chance to take another shot at the Dallas Cowboys, but he was right. The Patriots have been consistent throughout the years as they have won four championships this millennium. The Cowboys haven't been too successful. But Kellerman didn't pick them, he picked the Green Bay Packers. Now that does makes things interesting, so I would love to hear your opinion on that. Check out his point below.

Are Super team's good for the NBA?

This topic has been brought up almost every single day and definitely every single week, since Kevin Durant joined the Warriors. If you haven't watched First Take in the past few months, the sides are simple. Stephen A. Smith isn't too fond of it and Max Kellerman enjoys the concept. Personally, I believe super teams are exciting, but only if they are a few of them in the league. For example, Cavs vs. Warriors Part 3 has a lot of hype and excitement to it. Check it out below and let me know what you think!

There were more topics but these were the one that stood out to me during the course of the episode. Nonetheless, Stephen A. Smith won the debates, but it was by a close margin. Don't worry, you'll get em next time Max! Thanks for reading!
