LaMelo Ball makes basketball shoe history

LaMelo Ball, and Big Baller Brand, with the help of SLAM Magazine have debuted the "Melo Ball 1's", making the Chino Hills High School star, the first high school basketball player ever with his own signature shoe.

The shoe is available for preorder on BigBallerBrand.com and will cost a big price as well, retailing for a Big Baller price of $395, but if you wear a size 14 or 15, its gonna cost you $595.

Big Baller Brand faced a lot of criticism with the price of Lonzo Ball's signature shoe the "ZO2", those going for a an even higher $495. Despite heavy criticism for the pricing of the shoes, Lavar Ball has not backed down on the reasoning for such a high price tag. While on Fox Sports' "Undisputed" Ball did not back down when explaining why the price is so high, “I expected this reaction. The fact that people are losing sight - they’re looking at the price tag and not understanding that Lonzo’s shoe is symbolic. That comes with a price tag." said Lavar. Surely Lavar will say the same thing when asked why the price is so high with 16 year old LaMelo Ball's "MB1".
