How Does Conor McGregor's Future in MMA Look?

After retiring in March, Conor McGregor is still in the limelight with his recent comments of returning to the sport of MMA. While chatter floats around that McGregor will enter the octagon again this summer, nothing has been set yet. Talk had immediately sprung up for a rematch with rival and current champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov. Khabib was quick to state that he had no interest in giving McGregor a second shot right now; however, he was even more quick to send a warning to the Irishman when rumors of a possible appearance at UFC 242 in Abu Dhabi.

Even though Khabib has no interest in McGregor, there are still fighters out there who want a piece. Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone is one of these fighters. After an interview he did with MMAJunkie Radio, Cerrone claims to have challenged McGregor multiple times since January. Cerrone and his team have sent him the paperwork with their own side done, but the Irishman has yet to sign any of the contracts sent his way. When asked in his interview why he thinks McGregor won't sign the contract, Cerrone replied "I don't know, he just won't sign his end of the deal."
