Goran Dragic Heading To Sacramento?

Pat Riley and his Miami Heat have reportedly contacted the Sacramento Kings with a trade proposal aiming around Goran Dragic heading to the Kings in exchange for Rudy Gay and Darren Collison, according to Michael Scotto of Basketball Insiders

Riley has realized that with the departure of Dwyane Wade to Chicago, and the imminent retirement of Chris Bosh due to unforeseen health issues, the Heat are in a tough position as the owe the Phoenix Suns a 2018 First (Top 7 Protected, Unprotected in 2019) and an unprotected 2021 first. It may be another summer away, and Miami has nice building blocks with Hassan Whiteside and Justice Winslow. Trading Dragic away for two expiring contracts will give the Heat a great amount of flexibility during the 2017 campaign to help Riley get the franchise back to its successful "Big Three" days.

For the Kings, Gay has all but expressed he wants out of Northern California, and essentially, they end up turning Darren Collison into Goran Dragic, quite an upgrade on the court, though I'm not sure I like this move financially for the Kings. Though, Dragic could push them into a legit battle for the 8th slot and a playoff appearance in the West, something they need to do to appease DeMarcus Cousins.
