Michael Beasley Headed to Milwaukee

Houston has traded Beasley, the former #2 overall selection, to the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for Guard Tyler Ennis, as reported by Adrian Wojnarowski.

Beasley was solid for the Rockets, averaging 12.8 points, 4.9 rebounds on 52.2% shooting from the field in just 18.2 minutes of action. During five playoff appearances, Beasley averaged 10.4 points, 4.2 rebounds in 16 minutes on 47.8% shooting. Solid all around numbers in limited time, but with the additions of Ryan Anderson, Nene and the hopeful improvement from Sam Dekker, Rockets felt Beasley was expandable to shore up the point guard slot and should provide a boost to the Bucks scoring woes.

Ennis, on the flip-side, was the 18th pick in 2014 out of Syracuse, and has appeared in only 79 career games over a three year span, averaging 4 points and 2 assists in 13 minutes, Ennis has struggled from the floor hitting only 41.1% from the field and 30.5% from behind the arc. Not much of a loss for the Bucks and a gamble from Houston.

Rockets Grade: C-
Beasley at least provided some offense, Ennis might not even get much time.

Bucks Grade: A
Only reason it isn't an A+ is due to Beasley potentially ruining team chemistry.
