Vikings Off-season/Draft analysis
Well here we are. It is May of 2018 and the Vikings have just finished the draft. Throughout this offseason the big question remained: Who should our QB be? It could've been anyone. Kirk Cousins, Teddy Bridgewater, Case Keenum, or even Sam Bradford. As we all know, the Vikings decided to go with Cousins which was a phenomenal addition to our team. Now that the Vikings have a great QB under center our offense is that much more explosive. With the return of RB Dalvin Cook, the Vikings look to be a Top 5 offense in the NFL along with one of the top defenses in the league. Now to the draft. The Vikings picked a multitude of positions from adding depth to the offensive line, adding depth at cornerback and even some special teams help. In the first round they drafted CB Mike Hughes from UCF. The kid is a beast. Although he is only 5'10, Hughes plays much larger. He is a very aggressive CB and is a Zimmer type of player. He won't take shit from anybody and I think thats what this team needs. It will be a rocky road to the playoffs this year, but with the right formula I think the boys can get it done. Time will tell.
