The only other time the Mets made it to the playoffs 2 years in a row was 1999 and 2000. In 2001 the Mets went 82-80, good enough for 3rd place in the NL East. Teheran, Colon (yes Bartolo), and Garcia. The Mets and Braves have been pretty evenly split in the head to head matchups over the past 4 seasons with the Mets going 39-37 against the Braves over that span. The first meeting of the season in those four years has gone the Mets way 3 of the 4 times, with the Braves only winning the first meeting in 2015 with the Braves winning 5-3. It should be a fun year Mets fans so buckle up and strap in for the ride!
