Ashington Colliers Vs. Gateshead FC A

10th-16th

To Be Played At: Hirst Welfare, NE63 9HF

Ashington Colliers go into Saturdays game 10th. So far this season Colliers have won 3 and drawn one, taking ten points from a possible 27. Colliers will be hoping to climb further up the table following up with another win after last week’s 5-1 victory. A win could see Colliers move up to 7th.

Gateshead A go into Saturdays clash 16th. Gateshead are currently the only team not to pick up a point yet after gaining promotion. Last time out Gateshead fell to a 5-1 defeat. A will be hoping to pick up a win to kick start their season. A win could see Gateshead A move up to 15th.

Gateshead Rutherford AFC Vs. Birtley Town

5th-4th

Farnacres, NE11 0HH

Gateshead Rutherford AFC go into Saturdays game 5th in the table, taking 15 points from 9 games. These points have came in the form of 4 wins and 3 draws. Rutherford will be able to leap-frog opponents Birtley Town with a victory with a 4 or more advantage in Rutherford’s favour, taking them into 4th.

Birtley Town go into Saturdays game 4th, three points ahead of opponents Gateshead Rutherford. In their last game, Town managed the 3 points against Percy Main Amatures in a 2-1 victory. Town will be hoping this gives them momentum going into this weekend’s fixture. A win won’t see Birtley move any higher in the league but could see them move within one point of 3rd placed Newcastle University.

Newcastle University Vs. Shankhouse F C

Newcastle University go into Saturdays game 3rd in the table. So far this season, University have won 7 and drawn 1 of their opening 8 games, making them the only team in the Northern Football Alliance top division not to have lost a game yet. Newcastle will be hoping to continue this on Saturday against a strong Shankhouse side. A win could take University top of the tree.

Shankhouse FC go into Saturdays clash one place above the home side in 2nd place. Shankhouse saw off North Shields Athletic in their last game, beating them 4-0. Shankhouse have only lost 1 of their opening 9 games, winning all the others. Shankhouse are looking strong and should give the only unbeaten side in the league a good game. A win could see Shankhouse go top of the league.

Northbank Carlisle Vs. North Shields Athletic F.C.

12th-11th

Ponteland United go into Saturday’s game 6th in the Bay Plastics Premier Division. United currently sit on 15 points, taken from 9 games. Ponteland have so far won 4 and drawn 3. United will be looking to climb higher in the table with a Saturday win. A win could take Ponteland United up to 4th.

Killingworth Town go into Saturdays clash 7th, just 1 place and 2 points behind Saturday’s opposition. Last time out, Town fell to a 2-0 defeat to 2nd placed Shankhouse. Town will be hoping to make up for their defeat on Saturday with an away win. An away win could take Killingworth Town up to 5th.

Wallington Vs. FC United of Newcastle

8th-15th

Wallington go into Saturdays clash with FC United Of Newcastle in 8th place. Wallington have so far won 4, drawn 1 and lost 4 of their opening 9 games, picking up 13 points. Wallington will be hoping to take advantage of the fact that one of the 2 teams above them, if not both, will drop points as the two go up against each other. A win for Wallington could see them move up to 5th in the Premier Division table.

FC United Of Newcastle go into Saturdays game 15th. In their last game United fell to a 2-0 defeat to Percy Main Amateurs. FC are still without a win this season and will be hoping to pick up their first against Wallington. A win for FC United Of Newcastle won’t see them move any higher in the table but could close the gap between themselves and Percy Main to 3 points.

Hexham go into Saturdays clash with Cullercoats with 15 points from their opening 9 fixtures. These points have came in the form of 5 wins.
