Gateshead Rutherford AFC Vs. Wallington

Gateshead go into Wednesday’s clash seventh. Gateshead currently sit on seven points after the opening five games, winning 2, drawing 2. Rutherford will be hoping to take their points column into double figure with a home win. A win could lift Rutherford to sixth place.

Wallington sit eleventh in the Bay Plastics Premier Division after five games. Last time out, Waalington were on the end of a 4-2 defeat versus North Shields Athletic. Wallington will be hoping to bounce back with three points. A win could take Wallington up to sixth.

Killingworth Town Vs. Whitley Bay A

Killingworth Town go into Wednesdays clash fourth. Last year’s winners have had an impressive start to this year’s campaign, winning 4 out of 5. Town will be hoping for a fifth victory on Wednesday night in front of their own fans. A win could see Town move up to the top of the table.

Whitley Bay A currently sit twelfth in the Alliance’s top division. Last time out, Bay suffered a 4-0 loss. Whitley Bay will be hoping to make up for this with an upset at Killingworth. A win could take Bay up to sixth.

Newcastle University Vs. Grainger Park FC

Newcastle University go into Wednesday night’s game top of the table. University are the only team whom have a 100% after 5 games in the league. Newcastle Uni, will be hoping to make this six. Depending on other results, University could go six points clear in poll position.

Grainger Park FC currently sit fifteenth. Last time out Grainger were left by dead by Birtley Town, beaten 6-0 by the former Northern League side. Grainger will be hoping for their first league win and will be looking to rain of Newcastle Universities run of wins. A win could lift Park to thirteenth.

Gateshead A will be hoping to get back to the ways of success they experienced last season. A win could lift Gateshead to thirteenth.

Percy Main Amateurs Vs. Shankhouse F C

Percy Main Amateurs go into Wednesday night’s clash with Shankhouse thirteenth. Amateurs hae won just 1 of the opening 5, losing the other 4, leaving Main with 3 points. Percy will be hoping for a second win. This could see them move up to tenth.

Shankhouse FC have had an impressive start to the new season, sitting fifth after five games. Shankhouse managed to make it 4 out of 5 last Saturday in their game versus Northbank Carlise, winning 3-1. Shankhouse will be hoping to repeat this result against Percy Main and keep their early run going. A win could see Shankhouse move into first position.

Ponteland United Vs. Ashington Colliers

Ponteland United begin Wednesday’s game eighth. So far this season, Ponteland have won 2, drawn 1 and lost 2, leaving them with 7 points. Ponteland will be hoping to add another win to their tally and get into double figures after 6 games, A win could see United climb up to sixth.

Ashington Colliers go into their clash tenth. Last time out Colliers fell to a 2-0 defeat against last year’s winner Killingworth Town. Colliers will be hoping to get back to winning ways on Wednesday night. A win would see Colliers move above Wednesday’s opponents Ponteland and could see them climb as high as sixth.

Seaton Delaval AFC go into Wednesday night’s clash second. Seaton have had an exceptional start to season, winning all but one of their opening 5, picking up 12 points. Delaval are the highest scoring team in the top division and will be wanting to add more goals with a win on Wednesday. This could see them move to the top of the table.

North Shields Athletic FC go into their clash sixth. Shields have won 3 of the opening 5 and lost the other 2. Shields sit with 9 points and will be hoping to get well into double figures with a win. A win could see Athletic move up to second.

Birtley Town Vs. AFC Newbiggin

Birtley Town go into Wednesday night’s game third, having won 4 and lost 1, leaving Town with 12 points. Birtley, who are entering their second season in the Alliance, will be desperate to get promotion second time of asking. A win would take Town 3 points closer to a Northern League return and could see the move to the top of the table.

AFC Newbiggin go into their game with Birtley ninth. Newbiggin fell to a defeat in their last game against Newcastle University 4-1. AFC Newbiggin will be hoping to get back to winning ways on Wednesday night. A win could take AFC up to sixth.
