NXT Results for 12/12/2018; WWE Wrestler Challenges for N. American Title

Match 1 - Bobby Fish vs. E.C. 3: In a bit of a surprise, E.C. 3 rolled Fish up and held on for the three-count. As he celebrated his victory, the rest of Undisputed Era entered the ring and attacked the "1 percenter." Moments after the assault began, Heavy Machinery hit the ring and sent the members of Undisputed Era running to the back.

In a backstage interview, Dakota Kai and Io Shirai stated that they were not taking crap anymore, and wanted a match with Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke.

Match 2 - The Mighty vs. Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch: Despite some close calls, Lorcan and Burch came out victorious as they hit Nick Miller with the two-man impaler DDT and scored the pinfall.

In another backstage segment, Johnny Gargano said he wasn't absolved of any sins because he never sinned to begin with. He went on to say that he was going to end the story of him and Aleister Black the right way at TakeOver: Phoenix.

Responding to Kai and Shirai, NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler, Shafir and Duke said that they didn't feel threatened by their challengers. The trio walked off immediately afterwards, but a match between Kai & Shirai and Shafir & Duke was made.

Match 3 - 4-Way Women's Championship No. 1 Contender Match Qualifier, Mia Yim vs. Reina Gonzalez: The Texas newcomer had her moments in this match, but Yim finished her off with her check kick and got the victory. Yim joined Bianca Belair and Lacey Evans in the 4-way match to determine a number one contender to Baszler's title.

Main Event - North American Championship Open Challenge, c-Ricochet vs. Tyler Breeze: That's right, ladies and gentlemen, "Prince Pretty" entered Full Sail once again. This time, it was to challenge for the North American Title. Nostalgia immediately went through the crowd, and they quickly got split 50-50. Despite all the fun and excitement, Ricochet held on to his belt, finishing off "The Gorgeous One" with a Michinoku Driver.
