Aging Cristiano Ronaldo must adjust his game to last long at Real Madrid -warns Mendieta
Former Valence star Gaizka Mendieta is advising the aging Cristiano Ronaldo to adjust his style of play in order to last longer at Real Madrid.
Ronaldo is no longer scoring goals like before and have become wasteful in front of goal. Mendiata now feels he has to add something else to his game rather than shooting waywardly and hoping to score.
Talking to reporters, Mendieta said: “Cristiano is showing that he understands that he can no longer collect the ball in the centre of the pitch, take it past five players and score the goal of the game,"
“He knows that where the team needs him most is in the area."
