Jose Mourinho can not avoid to loss when Arsenal visit Old Trafford

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has the uphill task of leading the Red devils to victory at Old Trafford when Arsenal visits. In the last 15 games against Arsene Wenger's team, Jose Mourinho has won 13, draw once and lost once..

If Manchester United win, the gap between fourth placed Arsenal will be cut to two points and league leaders Liverpool to four points and also, it will give the entire team an uplift.

A defeat or a draw to Arsenal will be a disaster especially if, Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea were to win their subsequent matches  which will mean, Manchester United will be trailing the top 3 clubs with 12 points and Arsenal with 10 points after 12 games.

Manchester United have spent over $200million on revamping the squad and can not afford to lose the premier league title to one of their fiercest rivals -Liverpool or Manchester City Or lose touch with Arsenal for the fourth and final champions league places so early in the season.

The appointment of Jose Mourinho as Van Gaal's replacement was suppose to make Manchester United title contenders not a top 4 chasing club or an Europa League hopeful club but with Jose Mourinho struggling to put his message across his team, Manchester United looks destined to miss out entirely on European football.

A win against Arsenal will be start of something extraordinary while a defeat will be harder to swallow by the fans and board who expected more from Jose Mourinho.
