Who says it "Never rains in California?" The Garden State after years of little to no rain has been inundated with flooding storms over the past month or so leaving dams and levees struggling to keep up.

The rain has also exposed places where draining is um, not quite what it should be.

Case in point: Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres. The "Pet" has had just a few issues with drainage keeping up with the non-stop, heavy torrential rains plaguing the San Diego area.

Just take a look....

Sure, the folks running the stadium explain this by saying they just hosted a "Monster Jam"...which is all well and good. But in just a couple weeks, the World Baseball Classic will appear and the Padres will start their regular season not to long afterwards.

The grounds crew may very well take care of this but we are curious to see what the grass...and the infield looks like come March 14th for the WBC and the Padres once the season begins....
