The Look In The Northeast For May 18-23

We'll start in the Atlantic Conference where Cosmos B are off to their standard hot start- the 1 loss/hiccup withstanding. They're on top with 9 points. Greater Lowell United start a gaggle closely behind at 7 points. Expansion Boston City FC are at 7 as well. Brooklyn Italians and Seacoast Mariners are at 4. Seacoast Phantoms are at 1 point. The new Kingston Stockade have a draw in their first two contests while the Rhode Island Reds and New York Athletic Club are point-less so far.

Last week was the Cosmos loss to Mariners and a win over NYAC. This week, the Cosmos play Phantoms at Hofstra. GLUFC put four on Rhode Island last week, but have to come back with two contests this week- the back end of the home and home with the Reds and a game against NYAC. Boston City beat Phantoms last week and travel to the Brooklyn Italians this weekend. Brooklyn tied Mariners last weekend.

Here's a piece of the action between BCFC and Phantoms, thanks to Craques de Bola and 1360 AM in Boston

Mariners are off until Memorial Day...

The Stockade lost to Brooklyn and get a match with the Reds this weekend as well. And, for a piece of history, here's the highlights from the GLUFC match that gave the Stockade their first point in franchise history- the 1-1 draw

The Keystone Conference is just getting underway. Clarkstown has scored 4 goals in each of their first 2 games to take the top. Binghamton FC Thunder drew New Jersey Copa FC to give them their first point in team history. Hershey FC was the first victim of Clarkstown's 4-goal per game average.

This week, Binghamton welcomes Junior Lone Star to the schedule before their game with Electric City. Shock plays Hershey FC the day before. New Jersey Copa takes on Buxmont Sunday before taking on Electric City Next Wednesday.

In the Mid-Atlantic Conference, Chesterfield United and Legacy played to a draw- the only game so far this season. This week, Chesterfield takes on ASA Charge and Legacy 76 takes on FC Frederick. Tuesday, ASA Charge takes on VBC FC.
