The game ended at nearly 3 a.m eastern time and was played on the west coast. And even for the folks out left, it was a late night.

The Oregon Ducks escaped Tempe, Arizona early this morning with a 61-55 win that took 3 overtimes and roughly 5 hours to play. Oh, it wasn't without controversy either.

Wildcat WR Bralon Addison caught a 20-yard TD pass from QB Mike Bercovici in the 2nd overtime, narrowly in the opinion of officials...getting his foot down before going out of bounds. The play was reviewed and ruled inconclusive so the ruling on the field stood. Game tied at 55.

Oregon proceeded to score to lead off the 3rd overtime but did not convert the 2-point conversion afterwards giving Arizona State their shot. The Wildcats had their chance to tie or win...but Bercovici was intercepted in the end zone after leading his team to the 2-yard line.

Game over--Oregon wins.
