Could Gareon Conley fall to round 3?

The current draft stock of Ohio State cornerback Gareon Conley is not looking good in his favor. This all comes after a 23 year-old female told Cleveland police that she was raped by Conley and two friends on April 9th. This is something that Conley greatly denies...

"I am upset but realize that I am powerless when false accusations are made and people try to convict you in the court of public opinion. It's sad that your name can get dragged through the mud based upon untrue and malicious allegations alone." - Gareon Conley to ESPN's Josina Anderson

Unfortunately, this situation will not resolve itself by the time Thursday evening rolls around. And even if the accusations are false, some NFL reporters and scouts are suggesting that former top-15 pick Conley, could fall all the way to round 3. While, most scouts are in agreement that he will undoubtedly fall out of the first round. The risk is great with Conley, as Mike Florio of PFT points out, "Conley could be charged, prosecuted, and ultimately convicted of a first-degree felony."

Conley is the only one that knows if he is innocent or not. An accusation this close to the biggest day of Gareon Conley, it just unfair to Conley if he is an innocent man. And would be a harsh act by a woman but trying to get a minute of fame. But, nobody knows at this time and will not know before the NFL Draft ends. The way he is denying it, makes me think he is innocent.
