Stone Jensen of Mobridge/Pollock won the Faulkton Invitational at 182 pounds and zoomed up the leader board from unranked to No. 2 at 182.

Lotta movement in those upper weights of the Class B wrestling poll as wrestlers jockey for position, and eye other weight classes as the season hit full stride last weekend.

Some big movement in the 182 pound weight class from Mobridge/Pollock junior, Stone Jensen who won the Faulkton Invite last weekend.

Jensen's Faulkton results: Quarterfinal - Stone Jensen (Mobridge/Pollock) 7-2 won by fall over Noah Fullmer (Aberdeen Central ) 1-2 (Fall 2:27)...Semifinal - Stone Jensen (Mobridge/Pollock) 7-2 won in sudden victory - 1 over Duell Tomac (Lemmon) 10-1 (SV-1 3-1)

1st Place Match - Stone Jensen (Mobridge/Pollock) 7-2 won by decision over Jed Konechne (Sunshine Bible Academy) 6-4 (Dec 7-4)

That's a good result and Jensen jumped all the way to No. 2 at 182, trailing only Nick Casperson.

Bennett County's James Nelson is lurking in the weeds at 195

James Nelson dropped to 195 lbs this year and he's 8-0 and has yet to have a match go the distance.

Pretty quietly Bennett County 195 pounder, James Nelson has put together and 8-0 record on the season. Nelson pinned everyone at Stanley County and did the same at last weekend's Gordon/Rushville (Nebraska) meet.

Bennett County results: Semifinal - James Nelson (Bennett County High School) 8-0 won by fall over Adam Wach (Ogallala) 3-5 (Fall 0:55)....1st Place Match - James Nelson (Bennett County High School) 8-0 won by fall over Beau Wood (Perkins County) 6-2 (Fall 3:13)

Nelson wrestled 220 last year and was a high place-winner. Came into camp this year at 207 and kinda said, eh, what the heck, I'll go down.

Bennett County is at the Hot Springs Holiday Extravaganza this weekend where he could run into Sam Adams, the ninth grader from Harding County that is ranked No. 8 at 195.

Loaded weight class at 195 - Tanner Risseuw still at No. 1, Evan Kizer of Howard moves up to No. 2, Caleb Brandt of Wolsey Wessington, No. 3, Devan Stork of Canton to No. 4 and then Nelson at No. 5 with Winner's Jayden Schroeder dropping to No. 6 at 195.
