South Carolina State just made history by allowing 55-year-old Joe Thomas Sr. to take the field and receive a snap. He rushed for three yards on the handoff.
His son plays for the Green Bay Packers as a linebacker. For now he will got down as the oldest player to take the field of a NCAA Division 1 Game. Thomas has been working with the team for several years, but never got an opportunity like this until senior day. This brings a whole new meaning to senior day.
What a memorable moment for all involved.
