2015-2016 Season Summary: Blackwater Elite

Blackwater Elite continue to focus into the future and here is the summary of their season.

Blackwater is three wins better this season than last season. They also reached their first ever Quarterfinals and it was in the #1 conference, the Philippine Cup. They also pocketed two upset wins and they continue to dominate Mahindra.

Their numbers reflect positive things on both ends of the court. Blackwater has been terrific in forcing turnovers and they showed capability of scoring inside. They also did well in the scoring department ranking 7th, 7th and 11th in the three conferences.

CORE PLAYERS' STATISTICS
ARTHUR DELA CRUZ: 11.8 PTS | 4.7 REBS | 2.2 ASTS | 1.8 BLKS | 50.2% FG
CARLO LASTIMOSA: 18.0 PTS | 3.1 REBS | 2.4 ASTS | 43.6% FG
JP ERRAM: 10.2 PTS | 6.7 REBS | 1.9 BLKS
REIL CERVANTES: 10.7 PTS | 2.6 REBS | 32.8% 3FG
RIEGO GAMALINDA: 7.0 PTS | 2.9 REBS | 43.3% FG

I am very bullish with the future of this team. Their big three is very young at 24 (Dela Cruz), 27 (Erram) and 26 (Lastimosa). Arthur Dela Cruz exhibited legit skills on both ends of the court. His basketball IQ is at a genius-level. Carlo Lastimosa will finish this season with the sixth highest scoring average in the league. Lastly, Erram is the #1 shotblocker this season.
