2015-2016 Season Summary: Brgy. Ginebra San Miguel
Ginebra ended their title drought for eight years. Let us see how they fared overall.
Ginebra was very impressive in the elimination round but they failed in quarterfinals of the first two conferences. The first one was an upset loss to Globalport and second one was to Rain or Shine. Only TNT was able to avoid two defeats against them which is a very excellent feat.
In the statistics, you will see in their points production how coach Tim adopted and employed a faster scheme. From Philippine Cup to Governors' Cup was an increase of 12.6. The SWA pictured Ginebra as a very good team o nboth ends of the court. Their defense in the whole season was phenomenal as shown by the 23 out of the possible 33 in the Opponent FG%. One thing that they should try to improve for next season is their outside shooting.

Greg did not contribute in the court in their Governors' Cup conquest but what he showed under coach Tim was very encouraging. He will need to adjust to a much faster scheme that will reduce his touches near the basket. Sol Mercado was a revelation this season with him being the best sixth man in the league.
Japeth Aguilar was still very underrated in this season because of his anti-climatic numbers but if you just open your eyes and observe his impact better, you will see that he affects a lot on both ends of the court.
