Other than winning games, one aspect that fans want to see is for their players to improve. So, here are the top 5 candidates for the Most Improved Player award?

#5 Simon Enciso
Ever heard about him? He is the starting point guard of the Phoenix Fuel Masters and in his first game this season, he erupted for 25 points in 7/12 outside shooting. His ability to stop and pop from beyond the arc is a very special weapon for a point guard so if he can sustain it with efficiency, Simon could have a breakout year.

#4 Jason Deutchman
He did not get a single minute in the previous season but in his first game, he went 14 points with 2/4 shooting from beyond the arc. He was passable on the defensive end which made me believe that he will get consistent minutes and if he can do some post moves, he can make a lot of damage.

#3 Troy Rosario

Troy was really impressive in his first season with his 12.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 35.2% 3FG, but he could easily topple those stats this season, right? With a year under his belt and more plays for him, Rosario's number will surely rise. The ceiling of it will depend on his execution.

#2 Scottie Thompson
Earl has a great all around rookie season with his 4.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists. With more minutes in the Governors' Cup, he registered 5.1 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.5 assist. His playing time should be more than 20 minutes per game now so he has a great opportunity to put up more and lock-in the MIP award.

#1 Bradwyn Guinto
I thought he will still be a project this season but he was already an offensive force in their first game. He registered 17 points in 5/7 shooting. He was also a forced in the glass with 10 rebounds in total, seven offensive. A post scorer who can get a lot of offensive rebounds can always thrive in the league.
