My Thoughts on Coach Yeng's transfer to NLEX

If you are living under a rock for the last few days, let me inform you that Coach Yeng Guiao has signed with the NLEX Road Warriors. Let me give my take for each party involve after running down the facts.

THE FACTS
1. Coach Yeng Guiao is close to re-signing with Rain or Shine but he was allured by the last minute offer of NLEX.
2. “Of course, we’re very sad, but thankful to Coach Yeng for the accomplishments he did for Rain or Shine... We just realized that he’s going to a situation where he’ll also be able to play a role within his community in Pampanga, kaya we already gave him our blessings." Raymond Yu explains to Spin.ph.
3.
“Beyond basketball, NLEX has given me full control in the CSR (corporate social responsibility) project which would benefit my constituents in Pampanga since the company controls the operation of the SCTEX and NLEX." Coach Yeng Guiao's explanation to Interaksyon.com.

MY THOUGHTS
To Rain or Shine

The team exhibited again how professional and sincere they are in providing the best for their personnel. Coach Yeng was the builder of their image and instead of hating him with his decision, they gave him the green light and they were thankful with his contributions. Let us give this franchise a round of applause!

To NLEX
It is time to take them seriously. Coach Boyet Fernandez should be credited with his conviction of providing minutes to their young guns that gave them experience that will take dividends in the upcoming season. Everyone is waiting now for what kind of players will Kevin Alas, Glenn Khobuntin, Garvo Lanete and Sean Anthony develop into, under Coach Yeng.

To  Coach Yeng
I cannot blame you with your decision. You are a politician, after all. I am pretty sure that Coach Yeng is very excited to have a legit bigman in Asi Taulava and to reunite with Enrico Villanueva. I just want to plead something though. I hope he will stay with NLEX and doesn't follow the steps of Coach Tim Cone.
