2017 NFL Power Rankings: Week 2

Week number two is in the books! It was a fairly decent week no great games, a lot of boring games to be honest. In the Thursday night game, The Texans beat the Bengals 13-9 with rookie Quarterback, DeShaun Watson under center in his first career NFL start. Watson scored the only touchdown of the game on a 49 yard rushing play. In the early games on Sunday the Ravens beat the Browns, the Panthers beat the Bills, the Cardinals beat the Colts in overtime and the Titans smashed the Jaguars. The Chiefs, Patriots, Steelers and Buccaneers also all won their games.

In the late games, the Chargers lost on a last second field goal to the Miami Dolphins 19-17, the Redskins beat the LA Rams 27-20 and the Seahawks got pass the 49ers in a field goal game 12-9. Both the Denver Broncos and the Oakland Raiders won their games easily.

The Sunday night game was a major disappointment as the Falcons open their new stadium in a rematch of the NFC Championship game versus Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, the Falcons won 34-23 but it wasn't really that close.

Finally, the Detroit Lions on Monday night ruin the New York Giants home opener and beat them 24-10. The Giants offense was awful and has been in the first two games scoring only 13 points total.
