Eric Lindros Is the Newest Member of the Hockey Hall Of Fame!

This past Monday former Captain Eric Lindros got the call that he will be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame class of 2016!

Eric Lindros was drafted by the Quebec Nordiques in 1991 and the traded to the Philadelphia Flyers a year later. He was named the Flyers Captain before the 1994/95 season and stripped of the"C" towards the end of the 1999-2000 season by then General Manager and Flyer Captain/Legend Bobby Clarke . Let's say Bobby and Eric didn't exactly have a great relationship, I'm not going into much detail because every whose a Flyers fan pretty much knows what happen or has some knowledge. This isn't about their relationship. He was traded prior to the 2001/02 season to the hated New York Rangers.

Finally, Eric Lindros had a very good career but if it wasn't for the many concussions who knows what kind of career he would of had and if he would of lead the Flyers to a Cup win. We will never know it's one of those things. What if?

Congrats to Eric Lindros!
