The Cavs, like the Spurs and the Clippers, were helpless in preventing an upset Tuesday night

It was a crazy Tuesday in the NBA as supposedly powerhouse teams got stunned by their lowly counterparts. Giannis Antetokounmpo, a fast rising superstar and the Milwaukee Bucks dealt Lebron James Cavs' a 17 point drubbing. It should be a great morale boost for the Bucks as they have beaten the Champs.  Now how about San Antonio? Orlando was in no need of casting magic spells on the Spurs as Tony Parker and the rest of the team just seemed lazy from the opening tip right up to the final buzzer. Besides, what can we expect? It's in their homecourt, and all four Spurs losses so far are home grown.

But the craziest game of the night had to be the Clippers-Nets double overtime thriller, with Doc Rivers getting ejected for what looked like an eagerness to charge at the officials ala Mel Gibson in "Braveheart".

Mad Doc letting it all out after a bad call
The Clippers loss was in large part due to an explosive game by Sean Kilpatrick who drilled in 38 points. Maybe not too many NBA fans are familiar with the name but after beating Chris Paul's Clips, Kilpatrick might just have a large following of believers pretty soon.

These three games prove that in basketball, and in any sport for that matter, there is no such thing as a sure win. Upsets are just hanging around the corner to pounce on even the best of the best. In a wild turn of events, a championship caliber team can be reduced to a hapless spectator, watching the other team wreak havoc while having no answer, not even a prayer, to save the day.

NOTE: In Filipino betting parlance, a dejado refers to the underdog,               the one most likely to lose, like the Bucks, Magic, and Nets.                   In Spanish, dejado means left, or abandoned. Maybe that's                   what the Cavs,Spurs, and Clippers will be after those games,                 abandoned by their frustrated fans.
