The Rundown: Wild Night at MSG, Dubs Blowout Bulls, Grizz-Suns Get Into It

From The Garden: What could go wrong? Home game on national television in what some call the greatest arena in the world; Madison Square Garden. To top it all off, their opponent, a Chris Paul-less Las Angeles Clippers team trying to bounce back from tough times. In theory, this was the Knicks' game to lose.

As you can imagine, that was not the case. It all started with one of the strangest scenes you'll ever see in the crowd at an NBA game: Former Knick Charles Oakley getting into a physical altercation with team owner James Dolan.

Oakley was escorted out of the building by MSG security and was later arrested. Witnesses say that Phil Jackson of all people was trying to calm Oakley down in the tunnel while he shouted things at Dolan. The Knicks PR, released a statement very quickly, which was not the case when Derrick Rose went missing earlier this season.

The Knicks played well throughout the game, despite foul trouble from Kristaps Porzingis, the "Unicorn" and Carmelo Anthony led the way for the Knicks giving them the lead in the fourth quarter.

The Knicks picked up another loss, and Charles Oakley picked up three counts of assault. That is EXACTLY how the Knicks' season is going.

Warriors Blowout Bulls: Not much to talk about after this one. No Dwyane Wade, no Jimmy Butler and Paul Zipser (?) starting at small forward. Doesn't make for a good night for Bulls fans (including myself) as the Golden State Warriors thrashed Chicago. And if you played for Golden State last night, chances are, you had a good game:

An Aggressive Night: It was a double digit win for the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday against the Phoenix Suns, as they were led to victory by Mike Conley and Marc Gasol.

So it wasn't a close game, then why is it worth mentioning? Because this happened:

'Grit N Grind' can sometimes lead to things like this! I'm not an advocate for violence, but I do enjoy a good physical altercation (reminds me of the 90's) and these two teams gave it to us. After the game, Suns' guard Devin Booker called out Troy Daniels to the media.

That's all for The Rundown this week! Check back in on Monday for a recap of the weekend!
