Dak Prescott isn't good, he just got lucky...

Dak Prescott's name has been thrown around more over the past two weeks than LeBron James and Steph Curry during the NBA Finals. This might surprise you, but I don't think that he is not that great, he is just the lucky person that is in the spot he is in today.

Mark Sanchez could have the season that Dak Prescott is having if he was playing behind the offensive line the Cowboys have. Tyron Smith, Ronald Leary, Travis Frederick, Zack Martin, Doug Free and Jason Witten could be the best offensive line for one team in NFL history. Allowing only 1.5 sacks per game and getting rushed and hit 28 times this season, Prescott have plenty of time to get an on target throw to the best receivers the NFL has to offer. Dez Bryant, Terrance Williams, Cole Beasley, Lucky Whitehead and Jason Witten, there is not a much better wide receiver core you can get than that. Playing secondaries that are in the bottom half in the league, is another way that Prescott has thrown for almost 1500 yards this season.

Having a running back as good as Ezekiel Elliott and winning 5 out of the first 6 games is another thing that helps your popularity. A rookie running back possibly going to rush for over 2000 yards this season has great holes to run through made by the offensive line. Why do you think DeMarco Murray failed in Philadelphia? It is because he had a crap offensive line. The Cowboys' forth string running back could rush for positive yards each play with that kind of offensive line. The Cowboys are having a season of a lifetime, 5-1 already and it'll be interesting if they can keep it up as the season comes on. I can tell you one thing. In two to three weeks when Tony Romo is back healthy, he will be on the field and it'll be Prescott standing on the sideline with cameras constantly turning to him, wearing the headset listening to play calls. Romo will play as good as Prescott and you won't see Dak on the field until Romo retires.
